Tegiwa started back in 2003 when school friends Luke Sedzikowski & John Gardiner were at university together, and they decided to purchase a CRX to break for parts. This then snow balled into more Honda cars being broken, and then they began to start importing a few cars until the pair decided that they could make a business out of it.
In 2006, they took the plunge and officially setup Tegiwa Imports Ltd, and their business model revolved around importing performance Honda cars from Japan alongside used parts & wheels into the UK. Their business developed further when they had some smaller parts like brake stoppers manufactured. However, when the recession hit back in 2009, the market for imported parts soon started to dry up, so the guys turned their hand to dealing with aftermarket performance parts.
Fast forward and Tegiwa now design & manufacture their own performance parts to enhance and achieve true potential of both road & track cars. From radiators, to exhausts, all the way through to their renowned Tegiwa carbon intakes, all of their parts are created with passion, expertise & true Motorsport experience.
Tegiwa continue jumping from strength to strength, and have built an array of cars known internally as the "Tegiwa Fast Fleet". Their car collection includes an endurance spec Honda NSX and BMW M4 GT4. They are also title sponsors for UK Motorsport events such as the Civic Cup and the 750MC Club Enduro Championship. For over 10 years Tegiwa have been distributing their parts world-wide, and have become a household name within the aftermarket automotive industry.
