TRS Wire Tow Loop
TRS Wire Tow Loops provide 3000kg break strength and feature a coloured plastic coated loop to protect the bodywork as well as allowing easy visibility.
Designed for Motorsport use and comply with the latest MSA Q19.1.13 regulation.
Each towing eye has a breaking strain in excess of 2.7 tons and allows the passage of a cylinder with a diameter of 60mm, situated 25mm forward of the adjacent bodywork - 100 mm above and below this hole must retain clearance to enable the recovery crews to attach straps and shackles to recover the car. The wire towing eye must be fixed to a structural part of the chassis with a minimum of M10 (Grade 8.8) fixings, the inner part must be flexible in order for the towing eye to be retracted inside the bodywork profile.
Allows an easily recovery from race track gravel traps, and features a material tag for easier retrieval.
The wire mounting bolt-hole centre ID is 12mm (M12) and the strap is 26cm long with a loop diameter of 13cm.
To be universally mounted to the front or rear of most cars.
Note: Tow Loops should be kept clear of hot exhausts.
