POWERFLEX bushes are of superior design, manufactured from polyurethane and improve the cars road holding & chassis performance by controlling the amount of unwanted flex!
POWERFLEX road series bushes are for both road and fast road use. They are 15-20% stiffer than factory and result with the tyres having greater contact with the road at all times, therefore, improving safety and performance.
Factory chassis & suspension bushes are manufactured from is a rubber compound containing natural products that deteriorate with age. It becomes softer and more pliable, resisting the forces placed on it less and less. Therefore allowing more and more movement of suspension components and offering less and less control over the suspension geometry. This in turn causes accelerated tyre wear, braking instability, and poor handling. POWERFLEX polyurethane bushes eliminate this.
POWERFLEX possess mass automotive chassis & suspension experience and have combined their design skills with advanced polyurethane manufacturing techniques in order to develop a wide range of high performance automotive polyurethane bush components.
Operating in a self-contained state of the art factory, manufacturing everything in-house, Powerflex stainless steel components are machined on the latest computer-controlled equipment to ensure perfect repeatability & quality! The moulding and tooling, design and manufacturing are carried out within the factory ensuring very rapid response time and complete communication between development, prototyping, testing and manufacturing departments. Component manufacturing is carried out with the latest automatic processing equipment ensuring 100% right-first-time quality. Testing of new components is carried out both on the vehicle and on test rigs. All of this makes POWERFLEX the number one selling performance bushes in Europe!
POWERFLEX Polyurethane Bush Features:
- Greater Cost-effectiveness vs OEM/OE Rubber Bushes
- Improved Performance
- Reduced Movement
-
Prolonged Tyre Life
- Increased Safety
- Better Longevity
- Heat Resistance
POWERFLEX Bush Shore Ratings & Use:
- Red (65A) – Mainly used for exhaust mounts and diesel engine mounts.
- Yellow (70A) – Mainly used for engine mounts, differential mounts & subframe mounts, or areas where the bush needs a lot of movement and absorption.
- Purple (80A) – The most common, and is used in most areas of the suspension to provide the right mix between performance & compliance.
-
Black (95A) – POWERFLEX's hardest material. Mainly used where the vehicles standard suspension demands the use of this hardness of material i.e. in areas of high load.
POWERFLEX Lifetime Warranty:
POWERFLEX are proud to offer a lifetime warranty on their manufactured products. They have taken this decision because of the confidence that they have in both their products and also in the way that they have handled any warranty issues in the past.
They have never had a time period based warranty policy because they have always treated issues that customers have had as an opportunity to learn. Where a problem has occurred due to incorrect fitting, POWERFLEX have always asked themselves if the reason for the error was due to poor fitting instructions. When they have had a part failure they have tried to understand if the part was being used outside of its design parameters, perhaps on a race car running slick tyres. In cases like this, should POWERFLEX be offering a specific Motorsport compound?
Like all manufacturing, POWERFLEX have had the occasional material quality issue and in these cases, they have always replaced parts without question. So now POWERFLEX have decided to formalise their open and honest policy and boast about it!
POWERFLEX will replace any POWERFLEX product that any customer in the world is unhappy with for any reason. The only conditions that POWERFLEX attach to the warranty are:
- By purchasing and using POWERFLEX products, you are agreeing to the terms of their lifetime warranty as set out below.
- This warranty applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase may be required.
- That in the event of an issue you can contact POWERFLEX directly at sales@powerflex.co.uk and give as much information as possible to enable POWERFLEX to help you. This will involve giving them details of the installation and any changes made to the car, photos of failed parts, and the installation.
- Warranty is restricted to the replacement of the supplied goods, but no consequential loss (e.g. carriage charges, garage labour costs, vehicle recovery, car hire, loss of earnings, etc.) from any resulting problems. In the event of failure, we may require the old, failed parts returned to us for inspection after sending replacements.
- Any parts used for track/Motorsport/competition purposes or part numbers ending ‘BLK’ are excluded from the POWERFLEX lifetime warranty.
- What POWERFLEX ask in return is that anyone wanting replacement parts contacts them directly and sends them as much information as possible which will help us determine the reason for a problem.
