The GFB DV+ Performance Diverter Valve with solenoid features a low-profile integrated solenoid, which is shorter and more compact than the factory diverter, ensuring it will fit the tightest applications.
Specifically designed as a complete drop-in replacement for the OEM diverter valve in late-model Mercedes vehicles. Unlike the earlier generation diverter valves manufactured by Pierburg, the newer AMG-branded OEM valves cannot be disassembled and incorporated into a DV+. Therefore, GFB developed the T9388 with a low-profile integrated solenoid as a complete replacement for both the AMG and Pierburg diverter valves, enabling a hassle-free installation with no clearance issues.
Once installed, their will be sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and will hold as much boost as you can throw at it!
These are more responsive, less expensive, easier to install, and doesn’t cause compressor surge/turbo flutter. Oh, and it doesn’t require different springs or frequent re-builds unlike traditional pneumatic valves.
The GFB DV+ Diverter Valve is a recirculation valve and does not vent to the atmosphere, providing a quiet operation.
