EBC BSD Blade Brake Discs (REAR) - Ford Fiesta ST MK6

Description

The EBC BSD Blade Brake Discs are specially crafted to remove hot gases in an efficient way to help keep brake pads cooler and flatter. The multiple slots overlap to reduce the brake wind sound.

This style of brake disc vents the brake area better, by drawing heat away from the central brake pad area and with more slot under the pad contact area. Ideal when used at speed or under heavier loads, minimising heat fade.

Another great feature of slotted discs is the way they maintain flat ands parallel brake pad wear and avoid the record grooves or galling common with non-slotted discs. This improves pad contact and braking throughout the life of the disc and pad set.

Precision machined, balanced and 100% ONE BY ONE runout inspected to guarantee zero rotor distortion out of the box! The quality and price point of the EBC brakes discs combined with the 10,000 mile/6 months unconditional warranty make EBC Brakes a best buy brake part equal to or better than original parts.

With all EBC's in-house manufacturing of brake pads and its rigorous quality control on brake discs, EBC is totally in control of the products it sells. Each brake disc is also thermic black coated to prevent corrosion.

Always fit new pads when replacing discs.

Contains 2x brake discs.

EBC BSD Blade Brake Disc benefits:

  • Cooler brakes with high resistance to cracking
  • Long lasting corrosion resistant thermic black finish
  • The function of the multiple overlap slots reduce the brake wind noise
  • The Uniquely created blade slot design helps to remove hot gases from the braking zone
  • As the brake pad and disc wear, the slots maintain a perfectly flat and smooth pad surface. Also prevents rotor ribbing
  • Strictest quality controls and specifications with a 100% run out, metallurgy, and dimensional check for accuracy and smooth braking.

How to Bed-in EBC Brake Discs

The best way to bed in new brake discs is to use them gently over the first few hundred miles, not getting them too hot and letting them cool gently. Try to avoid hard braking during this time (safety considered).

Because new brake pads will be paired with the new brake discs, follow the bed-in procedure for the brake pads being installed.
